Do I need Rust for the desktop download?

No. Choose a prebuilt desktop package. Rust is relevant when compiling from source.

Do I need external MCP setup first?

Start with desktop setup. The Claude Code build integration starts its tool server as part of the build.

Can I keep editing the project?

Yes. Keep the project folder and its run instructions. Continue in the app or your development tools.

Is this Infinite Craft or a Minecraft mod?
